Izzy’s Film Portfolio

The first film I created at NYU for my Lumiere assignment. There was only one guide line: the camera does not move.

An experimental film I created for my Frame & Sequence class. It explores the ideas of objectivation and the constant performance of female identities.

I filmed, edited, and directed my band’s music video for our single
”My Love, Naomi”

My final film for my Frame & sequence class. The entire film was lit with one sun lamp I bought from the dollar store.

A woman who never learns from her mistakes. This is the film that got me into NYU.

Jordan’s Photography

(film captured on PolaroidNow i-type camera)

(7/26/22) This photo was taken during a trip to the Maritime Aquarium in Connecticut. One area of the aquarium that caught my eye was the butterfly exhibit, an area showcasing a variety of different butterfly species.

(7/??/22) Noodles.

(7/13/22) The first photo I took after I purchased it. My friends and I went next door to an instrument shop and decided to take a photo with one of them playing an instrument. I wanted to show the intensity of playing the drums and the frantic movement and the result shows a blur which I’m really proud of.

I just got accepted into NYU Tisch school of the arts! I’m going to film school!

Interviewed as part of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Foundation with my classmate and friend Mohamed Camera, and AP lit teacher Ms. Towne. We had a chance to watch the movie, “The Swimmers” and sat down with Yusra Mardini, Matthias Schweighöfer, and the director Sally El Hosaini to discuss the film's themes of empowerment and sisterhood.
